As part of your daily job you will develop local sales team, reseller relationships, distribution channels, manage an extensive sales pipeline, provide product demonstrations to prospective customers, and build strategic business relationships with key institutional and enterprise decision makers

    Mission Manager

    You will be in charge of delivering Open Cosmos projects in time and within the project budget. This means preparing the proposal, capturing customer requirements and planning the project execution but also defining timelines, allocating resources, identifying risks and using Open Cosmos’ technologies and services to satisfy customer expectations. You will interface with customers and the mission stakeholders, Open Cosmos’ technical and commercial teams, partners and suppliers. You will contribute to the design of the mission alongside with the systems engineering and mission operations teams. Excitement does not end here because you will oversee the delivery of the end-to-end space mission service, being involved in the selection and execution of building blocks, from launch service providers to ground segment infrastructure providers and all the regulatory landscape that frames the delivery of our services.

    You will become part of the procurement team, which is responsible for procuring goods and services to Open Cosmos enabling operations across the entire company. You will be responsible for sourcing, executing and managing contracts for a variety of products and / or services that range in value and complexity. On the services, this could cover (but not limited to) the following commodities: Launch services, Ground Segment services or Insurance. On the products side, this could cover (but not limited to) different kind of subsystems such Propulsion, Harnesses or Payload but also direct materials such mechanical and PCB parts.

    Spacecraft Software Engineer

    You will be joining Open Cosmos’ core team in Harwell-Oxford (UK) and will be responsible to develop applications and services which will run on our satellites. The work involves tight interaction with the satellite development team, mission operations and production departments. The work can involve working on our kernel and drivers as well alongside the embedded software engineers. Familiarity with unit testing and mocking is essential. Development work will require using Linux on a day-to-day basis. Experience working with kernels (e.g. Linux, FreeRTOS, etc), drivers, filesystems, and embedded platforms is a bonus.
